Okay, so far 23 people have signed up to be my readers. If I get 50 before Friday, March 25, 2011, I hereby swear to write my entire book during my spring break. My readers will be able to access an online copy of my book on April 4, 2011 if I get enough support! :)
(I gotta say, I'm kind of freaking out...)
First of all, I need to figure out an outline for my book. I'm going to have my writing club buddies help me with that. I can't wait to update y'all on the process! (IF, like I said, I get 50 by Friday.)

wowza! what does it mean to be a reader? to buy the book or ...?
ReplyDeleteno no! To be a reader, all you gotta do is promise that you'll at least read the first chapter sometime on or after April 4, 2011 (I'll have the book available online). My first fifty readers will be able to read the whole book at their own leisure, no cost or obligation. I just want to see if there's a market for my work, and if people even like it. Also, I need to be held accountable or I won't write the thing (the thought of 50 people screaming at me on Monday, April 4th, demanding to see my book, will ensure I get the whole thing written). ;p It's just an experiment, really. Would you like to be a reader, Junebug? I need around 20 more, or I won't have to do it!
